Robert J. Thomson
Robert J. Thomson, age 56, of Toledo passed away Tuesday October 12, 2004 at Flower Hospital following an extended illness. He was born January 21, 1948 in Toledo to Christian R Thomson, first superintendent of Start High School and Alice (Winslow) Thomson. Robert attended Howe Military Academy, and graduated from Start High School. He was employed as a set-up supervisor at the Toledo Sports Arena, and in his youth had worked for the Toledo Board of Education. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siter Christine Jacobson.
Survivors include son Nicholas; two grandchildren; nephew Geoffrey Jacobson; cousin Sylvia Klotz; special friends Jim and Kathy Redd; special companions George, and Miss Tilt.
The family will receive guests Thursday from 2-8 P.M. at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Interment services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the donors choice.
