Robert F. "Bob" Teall
Robert F. "Bob" Teall, age 59, formerly of Toledo currently of Marietta, GA. passed away suddenly August 20th, 2004 in Destin, FL. while on vacation attending a family reunion. He was born July 14th, 1945 to Robert J. and June J. (Keil) Teall in Toledo. Bob was a 1963 graduate of Central Catholic High School and a U.S. Navy veteran serving from 1965-1969. During his military service, he attended Georgetown University. Bob went on to graduate from Davis Business College and attended the University of Findlay. He was a member of the American Legion #135 and the DPMA (Data Process Management Association). Bob was employed with the former Sheller-Globe Corporation as a Systems Analyst for 10 years and St. Luke's Hospital as their MIS Director for 17 years. He was an avid Ohio State Fan earning him the nickname "Buckeye Bob". Bob also enjoyed golfing and bowling and was a coach for the Trilby Baseball Association for 10 years. Throughout his life he demonstrated deep love and concern for his family, giving generously of his time and support and always left a memorable impression. He truly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Bob is free at last from all the pain and suffering he experienced from Diabetes.
He was preceded in death by father, Robert J. Teall and niece, Megan Langenderfer. Bob is survived is his loving and devoted wife of 34 years, Kathleen H. (Raabe) Teall; son, Robert M. Teall of Toledo and daughter, Jennifer Teall of Marietta, GA.; grandchildren, Brett M.; Jordan T.; Robert M.; Allyiah K. and Darnell L.; mother, June Teall of Toledo; sister, Mrs. Janice (James) Kistner of Toledo; brothers, John (Renee) Teall of O'Fallon, IL and Dennis (Linda) Teall of Cincinnati, OH.; aunts, Rita "Sis" Teall and Marsha Siglow, both of Erie, MI. as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests Thursday from 2-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). American Legion Services will be Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin Friday at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Regina Coeli Catholic Church, 530 Regina Parkway. Officiating will be Fr. James Auth.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to American Diabetes or Greater Toledo Challenger Little League Baseball Association.
