Robert T. Crosby, Sr.

Robert T. Crosby, Sr., age 58, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at the Liberty Nursing Home. He was born on October 16, 1948 to Orville and Irene (Grubbs) Crosby in Toledo. Robert worked as a truck driver throughout his life. He was a huge fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes and the New York Giants. Robert loved fishing and being on the water. He often enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald and John Crosby, sisters, Karen Nino, Marie Basinger and Rosalie Hart. Robert is survived by his loving family, daughter: Theresa Crosby; sons: Robert Jr. (Brandy), Jeffrey (Lisa) and Richard (Michelle) Crosby; grandchildren: Dustin, Jessica, Lindsey, Coty, Chelsea, Kelsey, Dominic, Jakob, Donovan and soon to be..Collin; former wife: Terri Curley; sisters: Audrey Spradling and Shirley Crosby; brothers: Edward (Linda), James (Carole), and Ronald (Evie) Crosby; brother-in-law: John Nino, Sr.; aunt: Dorothy (Donald) Copsey; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, March 10, 2007 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., (419-473-0300) from 4 – 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Chaplain Carol L. Miller.
