Robert Simpson

Robert L. Simpson, 82, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Toledo June 20, 1929 to John Earl and Estella (Jenkins) Simpson.
Bob was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School and retired from Dana Corporation after 34 years as a grinder and inspector. He was an avid golfer, often playing two to three times a week at Giant Oak even during his illness.
Preceding him in death were his parents, brother, John, and sisters, Eileen Noyes, Theda Wagenknecht, Lou Loehrke and Libby Mason. Bob is survived by several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation and services were private. Those wishing to give memorials are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the charity of their choice. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home (419-473-0300).
