Robert W. "Bob" Shaud, 67, of Lambertville, MI, died June 8, 2007 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. Bob fought a valiant three month battle with cancer. He was born on February 12, 1940 to Andrew and Lucille (Deck) Shaud in Toledo. He had an avid interest in cars and motorcycles throughout his lifetime. A favorite pastime was to attend swap meets and car and motorcycle events. He was a proud UAW member, and belonged to the American Motorcycle Association, The Antique Motorcycle Club of America, Vincent Owners Club and the BMW Owners Club. A graduate of DeVilbiss High School, he worked for Dana Corporation for 22 years and had just completed his 21st year at NSS Enterprises.
Leaving to cherish this kind and gentle soul are his wife of 47 years, Deanna, his daughters, Robin Shaud and her husband Paul Huyck of New York City and Roberta (Jerry) Long, grandchildren, Hokulele "Robby" Horn, Deanna Long and Gage Long of Lambertville, MI., and brother, Donald (Pat) Shaud, of Petersburg, MI.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 4 – 5:00 p.m. with Memorial Services beginning at 5:00 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Larry Carey.
