Robert S. Edinger, age 66 of Woodburn, OR died suddenly on Saturday, December 5, 2015 of a massive heart attack.
Bob leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years, Mary and his 2 beautiful sons, Josh and Jack.
Bob was an American Veteran serving in the US Army from 1969-1971 stationed in Germany. He then spent most of his life as a truck driver, retiring from SAIA Motor Freight in 2013. Born and raised in Sylvania, Bob lived in Mansfield for 31 years before moving to Portland, OR in 2014 to spend his retirement near his sons.
Bob is also survived by his siblings, Sylvia Edinger, Gloria (John) Wilson, Phil (Janice) Edinger, Connie (Joe) Muniz, and Suzy (Chris) Wilson, and sister in law, Kendy Edinger Vamos. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Urban and brother Bill. Bob was there to greet his mother, Helen Edinger, who joined him on Sunday, December 13.
