Robert F. Olinger

Robert F. Olinger, age 74 passed away Monday, November 28, 2022 at St. Anne Hospital. The son of Frank and Betty Olinger, he was born November 18, 1948 in Toledo. Bob was a member of the Iron Coffins motorcycle club since high school and truly enjoyed riding his various Harleys over the years. He worked for Textileather for many years before retiring. Bob was the best husband ever and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife, Carmen; daughters, Rose Himebaugh, Violet (James) Bohn; grandchildren, Leo Attard, William Bohn, Marissa Bohn; great grandchildren, Dominic and Addalynn; sister, Vicki DeSimpelaere (James Grochowski); nephew, Daniel Kine, Ryan (Alyson) DeSimpelaere; grand niece & nephew, Koltyn and Kyndal DeSimpelaere; sister in law, Rita (Harry) Johnston; all his many brothers and sisters in the Iron Coffins; and his beloved dog, Chloe. He was preceded in death by his parents; mother and father in law Bartholomew and Josephine Attard.

There will be no visitation and services will be private. Arrangements were through Newcomer Funeral Home-Northwest Chapel (419-473-0300).
