Robert Nowak

Robert E. Nowak, age 67 of Sylvania passed away Monday, November 21, 2005 in his home. He was born October 26, 1938 to Clarence and Lucy (Gnepper) Nowak in Elmore, Ohio. Bob was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was employed with IBM for 28 years and RGIS for 25 years. He was a member of Monclova Road Baptist Church. Bob was also an avid gardener.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his first wife, Lillian Nowak and sister, Joanne Zyski. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 6 years, Genelle Nowak; sons, Jeff "Homer" (Jenny) Nowak; Dan (Cori) Nowak; Doug (Holly) Nowak; Kevin (Becky) Nowak; Randy (Laura) Rose; Gary Rose; Karen (Dennis) Williams and Jodi (Zach) Werner; grandchildren, Briana; Calee; Alexis; Cassidy; Olivia; Ariana; Dennis; Danielle; Brooke; Paris; Brittany; Madison; Jacob; Justin and Zach; siblings, Nancy Ginnever; Janet (Ronnie) Timmons; Dennis Nowak; David (Jan) Nowak and Charlene (Keith) Paxson and brother-in-law, Harvey Zyski. Bob is also survived by many dear friends.
The family will receive guests Friday from 2-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) and Saturday from 10-11:00 a.m. at Monclova Road Baptist Church, 7819 Monclova Rd. Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Officiating will be Pastor Russ Merrin. Interment will be at Lindsey Cemetery in Lindsey, Ohio.
