Robert Naslund, Sr.

Robert E. Naslund, Sr., age 87 of Sylvania, Ohio passed away peacefully on December 4th, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
Robert was born in Superior, Wisconsin on September 23, 1925 to Emil R. Naslund and Alma (Botterude) Northam.
Bob graduated from Wisconsin State, the University of Minnesota and the University of Chicago. He was General Manager of Interlake Iron Chicago and Toledo plants. Bob retired in 1983 to Gordon (Spider Lake), Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife of 47 years Betty Jane Naslund and his son Robert E. Naslund, Jr.
He married Beverly Leuck on November, 1993 and she survives. He is also survived by his children, Karyn (Gene) Crotteau, Christine (Michael) Kaiser, stepchildren David Leuck, Barbara (David) Pearson, grandchildren, Staff Sgt. Michael (Mandy) Kaiser, Sgt. Robert (Tara) Kaiser, Tara (Paul) Butler and Lisa (Ryan) Titkemeier, step grandchildren, Nicole Holloway and Rene Ragen, great grandchildren, Kendall and Jake Kaiser, Brayden Kaiser, Seth Butler, Maxwell Titkemeier, and 3 step great grandchildren.
The family will receive guests Friday, December 7, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Entombment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery in Sylvania, Ohio.
