It is with great sadness, the family of Robert "Bobby" Nash, Jr., age 70, announces he passed away peacefully on June 10, 2018 at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Gary, Indiana to Robert Nash, Sr. and Anna (Georgieff) Bogedain-Sutter, who later moved their family to the Holland, Ohio area where he attended Springfield High School. Bobby was a lifetime member of The Cousino Club and The Moose where he built his passion for music and became known as Famous DJ Bob. He was a long-time employee of Kenwood Gardens. During retirement, Bob enjoyed camping at Sunset Cove Campground, driving his boat on the Maumee River and Sundays at The Hollywood Casino with his wife and mother.
Bob will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 15 years, Lucinda "Cindy"; mother, Anna Bogedain-Sutter; daughter, Angel Perales; sons, Robert Nash III (Jamie) and Andrew Kuhman;stepsons, David (Amy) and Jeff Nicholson; sister, Anna "Honey" Nash-Friedman; sister-in-law, Carol Nash; step-brothers, Mike (Terri), Jeff (Beth) and Ron (Cheryl) Bogedain; step-sister, Sandy (Rick) Maliniak; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed by countless friends and extended family. Bob was preceded in death by his father; brother, Donald "Dollar" Nash and step-sister, Kathy Kelly.
The family will receive guests from 4-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). His Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home on Thursday, June 14, 2018, Pastor Brian Stretchbery officiating. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
