Robert "Bob" Mora passed away at his home July 20, 2005, he was 76 years old. Bob worked for Monroe Steel Castings for 25 years. He proudly served his country in WWII as a member of the United States Army. In his retirement he enjoyed going to dinner with his friends, gardening, driving his Cadillac on sunny days and playing with his babies "Pee-Wee" and "Lola." Bob will be sadly missed by his good friends John and Judy Bores, Marjorie Buchanan, and Carmen Tomas. John and Judy Bores are quoted as saying that, "Bob will always be remembered by his family as a generous and kind man." He is survived by his sister, Sara Olivo and family in Texas. Also by his brother Salvador "Sal" (Hortensia) Mora and family in Sandusky, OH. Nieces and Nephews, Ester (Bob) Maxwell, Sam Mora, Betty Mora, Sara Mora, and Sal Mora. Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Luisa, father, Francisco and brother Juan Mora.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2005 at 11:00 A.M., in the Christian Baptist Church, 3684 Brest Rd., Newport, MI 48161. Rev. Cliff Ervin officiating. The Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with arrangements.
