Robert S. Mohr

Robert S. "Bob" Mohr, age 88, passed away at ProMedica Goerlich Center under hospice care. He was born on June 20, 1933 in Swanton, Ohio. Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during the Korean War as an aircraft mechanic. He was a layout inspector at GM Powertrain for 34.5 years until retiring. Bob loved fishing and traveling. His smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronnie and Jack. Bob is survived by his loving wife of almost 46 years, Karen; sons, Jeff (Sharon) and Brian; daughter, Julie; step-son, Craig (Lisa) Kaminsky; 6 grandchildren; and many dear friends.

There will be no visitation for Bob and Graveside Services will be private. Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.

Memorial contributions are asked to be made to ProMedica Hospice in honor of Bob.
