Robert G. Meade

Robert G. "Poppy" Meade, age 62, passed away on April 19, 2017. He was born on July 13, 1954 in Toledo, Ohio.

Rob retired from the family business, Ned Parker Electric, after almost 40 years as an Electrician. He valued the time spent working with Ned. The most important thing in Rob's life was his family and he especially adored his grandchildren. He was very involved in attending his grandkids games and was always cheering them on as their "#1 Fan." Rob was also a diehard Detroit Tigers, Lions and Cleveland Cavs fan. In his younger years, Rob enjoyed drag-racing and NASCAR.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving daughter and extra-special son-in-law, Jeanean "Beep" and Matthew King; siblings, Donnie, Kathy, Terrie (Jerry), Lenny, Mike (Sheree); precious grandchildren, Jaylen, Tyson and Tialyn "Sis"; special niece and nephew, Gina and Garrick; and many other dear family members including, Shirley Parker. Rob was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Dorothy; brother, Ronald Jr. and sister, Carol.
