Robert Aaron Marshall, Sr. age 73, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on May 5th 1944, in Curlin, Louisiana to Evelyn Edwards and Andrew Lee Marshall. In May 1970 he joined the United States Army. He received the following awards regarding his services in Vietnam, The National Defense Service medal, Vietnam Service medal, Vietnam Campaign medal, recognized as an expert marksman within the military. Soon after being honorably discharged from the United States Army, Robert worked for Doehler Jarvis, Champion Sparkplugs, retiring from Owens Illinois in Perrysburg, Ohio after over 20 years of service.
He enjoyed watching western movies, working on vehicles, attending church services and spending time with family. His zeal for life was obvious but in everything he did his love for God and family was most pronounced; oh how he loved praising and worshiping God.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Donna Maria Marshall, son Robert (Heidi) Marshall, daughter Dayna (Mark) Marshall-Pickett, from previous marriage, sons Earl Brooks, Derek, Zerek, Morris Marshall. Sisters, Christine Vaughn, Leslie (Lewis) Hildreth, Roger Marshall, Willie Lee Marshall, 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and many loving cousins and extended family.

The visitation will be on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 10-11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Church, 1520 Reynolds Road, Maumee. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor David Banks officiating. Interment will be at the Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
