Robert Lamar

Robert K. LaMar, age 82, of Toledo, passed away Monday, February 18, 2008 at the Flower Hospital. He was born on November 20, 1925 to Robert K., Sr., and Muriel (Holaday) LaMar in Laramie, Wyoming. Robert was a graduate of Laramie High School and also attended the University of Wyoming. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during WWII. Robert was a member of the VFW in Laramie, WY. He also worked in the construction business as a construction supervisor for many years. Robert will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Barnes, granddaughter Candy Barnes, sisters, Robina Schaefer, Fairy Spearman, Evelyn Wascher and Betty Forsch. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Eloise LaMar; children: Robert K. (Donna) LaMar, III, Robbie (Harold) Bauer and Gene (Jackie) Adkins; son-in-law: Dannie (Sheryl) Barnes; grandchildren: Debbie, Amy (Jerry), Scott (Liza), Amber, Jesse (Corinna), Cody, Kayla, Robert Edward and Robert Allen; sister: Mary Rodeman; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will take place Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
