Robert L. Lemle

Robert L. Lemle, age 83, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born on May 21, 1933 in Toledo, Ohio.
Bob was a man of great faith and a member of Little Flower Catholic Parish for over 25 years. He retired from Mercy Health Partners as a Courier in 2009. He worked for Teamsters Local 20 for over 45 years where he was a Union Steward and a Business Agent fighting for employee rights. Bob was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 33 years. Next to his family, his biggest passion was music. Bob loved to DJ as well as karaoke, and everyone who knew him loved to listen to his wonderful voice. He was great at telling jokes and making people laugh all the way until the end.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife; children, Darlene (Ric) Woods, Deb (Jack) Gottschalk, Bob Lemle, Sandie Brown, Barb (Gregg) Lucio, Mary Webster and Joyce Hartford; mother of his children, Patricia Lemle; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and his beloved fur-baby, Beaner. He was preceded by his daughters, Jeanette Walton and Helen Lemle; parents; brothers, Jim and Lee Lemle; son-in-laws, Larry Brown and Chuck Hartford Sr.; great-grandsons, Owen James and Jacob Troy.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Rosary Service will begin at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Little Flower Catholic Parish, 5562 Dorr Street, Toledo. Family and friends may visit from 12-1:00 p.m. prior to Mass.
