Robert Kramer

Robert J. "Grandpa" Kramer, age 79, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at his home. He was born on September 16, 1926 to Charles and Gertrude (Janney) Kramer in Toledo. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an active member at St. Catherine Catholic Church. He was also very involved at Central Catholic with the girls basketball and fast pitch softball, since 1990. He was often called "Grandpa" by everyone. Robert enjoyed fishing and bowling in his spare time.
Robert is survived by his daughters: Jane (Jack) Adams and Kristine Jameson; grandchildren: Jackie (Jon) Gulch, Jeanie (Tim) Johnson, Chris (Tarah) Adams, Michael (Megan McCullough) Jameson; and great-grandchildren: Nicholas Gulch and Madison Adams.
In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his wife, MaryLou (Curtin) Kramer and great grandson, Andrew Gulch.
Graveside Services will take place on Friday, December 30, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Resurrection Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will take place Friday at 2:00 p.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church, 4572 North Haven Ave., Toledo. The Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo, (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
