Robert Joseph Thayer, Jr.
Robert Joseph Thayer, Jr. age 66, of Toledo, went to be with our Lord Friday, September 8th, 2006 in St. Luke's Hospital. He was born on Easter Sunday March 24, 1940 to Robert J. and Jeannette (Smith) Thayer, Sr. in Berlin Heights, Ohio. He attended Berlin Heights High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Sue C. Thayer; children, Kristy (David) Williams; Robert J. Thayer, III; Kortney Thayer and Kurt Thayer; step-daughter, Kim (Brian) Zimmer; step-grandsons, Derek and Connor Zimmer and siblings, Bruce (Cindy) Thayer and Bonita (Jim) Chambers.
The family will receive guests Wednesday from 2-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home 4150 W. Laskey Rd. Funeral Services will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m.
