Robert J. Lute, Sr.

Robert J. Lute, Sr., 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October 5, 2012. He was born on January 9, 1942 to the late Minnie and Arthur Lute, Sr. in Toledo, Ohio.
Bob retired from TARTA. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards and visiting casinos. Bob loved spending time with his family and especially looked forward to family gatherings. He served four years in the Navy and was a proud plank owner of the USS Constellation (CV-64). Bob also served on the USS Saratoga.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela; infant daughter, Mary Frances and brother, Arthur F. Lute, Jr. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 32 years, Patricia; children, Robert Jr. and Michael (Amanda) and grandchildren, Robert III, Christopher, Kayla and Kaitlyn.
The family will receive guests on Monday from 2-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). "Sharing of Memories" will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
The family would like to give a special thanks to everyone at Innovative Dialysis and Toledo Hospital Units HVICU, AICU and 19-West and the Orthopedic Staff.
