Robert Lee Irwin age 95 of Toledo passed away on February 18, 2024 at Toledo Hospital. He was born in Holland, OH on August 26, 1928 to George and Catherine (Hartman) Irwin.
Bob was home builder before serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He owned and operated Regal Cabinet Inc., since 1956. Bob loved to spend time with his grandchildren and also enjoyed NASCAR, golf and football.
His memberships included Northern Light Lodge #40 in Maumee where he was a 32nd degree Mason; The Exchange Club of Sylvania/Franklin Park in Toledo; past president of Reynolds Exchange Club since 1959; past president of the Ohio-West Virginia District Exchange Clubs; served 4 years on the National Board of the National Exchange Clubs; past president of the Association of Past National Officers and Board Members of the National Exchange Club; past president of Citizens for Metro Parks; a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Winter Garden, FL and served on the Lucas County Drug Abuse Advisory Board.
Surviving is his children, Dan (Denise) Irwin, Linda (Tree) Wineland and Kevin Irwin; grandchildren, Joshua (Maria), Shawna (Brian), Nicholas (Katie), Brandon (Amy), Mark (Chuck), Heather (Eric), and many great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter, Adelaide. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sonja; and brothers, George, Richard, Gene and David. Services for Bob were private.
