Robert H. "Bob" Keesee, age 69, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, June 16, 2013 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Bob was born on January 19, 1944 to Jasper and Ora Mae (Bryant) Keesee in Eccles, West Virginia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving his country proudly during the Vietnam War. Bob was a longtime member of Calvary Assembly of God and now attends Crosspoint Community Church. He founded and operated Kelly Electric for 35 years, worked as a realtor with ReMax and most recently retired from Home Depot as a master electrician. Bob's passion was serving the Lord as a Pastor; he served his community at the Cherry Street Mission, Rescue Missions and different nursing homes. He was avid fisherman and hunter. Bob loved nothing more than the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a loving, devoted, husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Keesee and sister, Nancy DeCamp. Bob is survived by his loving wife of almost 49 years, Judy Keesee; daughter, Kelly (Jeff) Ratkiewicz; son, Scott (Livia) Keesee; grandchildren, Connor, Emily, Meredith and Dylan; sister, Donna Keesee; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Memorial Services for Bob will take place Monday, June 24, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at Calvary Assembly of God, 1360 Conant St., Maumee, OH, with visitation one hour prior. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
