Robert James Glanzman, 61, was sent to heaven on the wings of a choir of angels on November 8th, 2022. He was born on December 31st, 1960, in Toledo, Ohio to Harold and Rose Glanzman, who preceded him in death.
Bob ("Bobby") enjoyed a variety of the simple things in life. First and foremost he loved his family dinners and lunch adventures, always on the hunt for the best chicken livers and Coney Island hot dog. In a close second – music and concerts. Any music related event…Bob was ready to go! His favorite was The Beatles. His family recalls him spontaneously singing "Love Me Do" whenever talk of The Beatles commenced. Bob enjoyed campfires with neighborhood friends and backyard bird watching. He had built some pretty nice bird houses and feeders over the years. In his younger days he also enjoyed the CB Radio and creating model train communities.
Bob had several hobbies throughout his life…collecting coins, gardening and wine making. His wine graced the table at many Thanksgiving Dinners and friends and family that had the opportunity to partake of his wine…well, let's just say there are stories to tell! Even with his passion for wine, his favorite beverage was coffee, all kinds, all flavors, any time of the day. There was always a brew at Bob's house.
Bob was a charter member of the Adams Township Sons of The American Legion and a lifelong member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
Bob was a loving brother to Jean (Jim) Spencer, Kathy (Lew) Smith, Ruth Glanzman and Rebecca Petree who survive. He is also survived by nieces Laura (Timothy) Allen and Sarah Wagner; nephews Allen (Kristin) Spencer and Ryan (Katie) Wagner; great nephews Harold, Elliot and Edison and great niece Everly. Brothers-in-law and heart, Rob Petree and John Kurfess, preceded him in death.

The family will receive guests Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 6149 Hill Ave Toledo, OH. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
