Robert F. "Bob" Scanlon, age 80, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Bay Park Hospital. He was born on September 28, 1935 in Toledo. Bob worked for CSX for 44 years as a Long Shoreman. Bob's passions included traveling, hunting, fishing, watching Pawn Stars and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his great-grandson, Cody Chrisman. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 34 years, Karen (Shaffer) Scanlon; children, Robert W. (Michelle) Scanlon, Robin Scanlon, Jackie Scanlon, Jill (Phil) Galuchi, Sean Scanlon, Martin (Stephanie) Chrisman, Harley, Jr. (Sue) Chrisman, Eric (Silvia) Chrisman, Christina (Mike) Wells and Shannon Chrisman; 32 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters and 1 brother.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 3-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300).
