Robert E. Rahman, Sr.
Robert E. Rahman, Sr., life-long resident of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday, June 1st, 2011. He was born on March 5th, 1922 to the late Gertrude (Long) and George Rahman.
Bob was a 1940 graduate of Waite High School. He was a member of the Local 50 Plumbers and Pipe-Fitters for 68 years. Bob was a member of St. Joan of Arc Parish.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon McPherson. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 67 years, Jean; children, Robert Rahman, Jr., Donald Rahman, Sr., Kenneth Rahman, Sr., Thomas Rahman, Jeffery Rahman, Patricia Long; siblings, George B. Rahman, Louis H. Rahman, Shirley Irving; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 5856 Heatherdowns Blvd. Friends and family may visit one hour prior. Father Anthony Recker officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Perrysburg.
