Robert E. Marshall

Robert E. "Bob" Marshall, age 76, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the Franciscan Care Center. He was born on November 17, 1936 to Clarence and Vera (Tippie) Marshall in Toledo. Bob was an automatic welder with AP Parts for 30 years before retiring in 1987. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. Bob had a great sense of humor and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Marshall; and brothers, Gerald and James Marshall. Bob is survived by his sons, Richard Marshall, Donald Marshall and David Hottman; daughters, Sandy (Tim) Abdo, Janet Balonek and Tonya Hottman; grandchildren, Keith, Kevin, Teresa, Jimmy and Katie; and several great-grandchildren.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday from 3 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
