Robert E. Hough

Robert E. Hough, age 89, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born July 30, 1918 to Frank and Ida Hough in Wadesboro, North Carolina. Robert was employed with Norwalk truck Line, A P Parts and Pinkerton for more than 20 years. He was also a WWII U.S. veteran of the Marine Corps.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Lynn "Skeeter" Hough and several brothers and sisters. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Ruth M. (Palmer) Hough; daughter, Debra Carsten; grandchildren, Michael; Heidi and Lynnette; great grandchildren, Mercedes; Austin; Brighton; Harley-Lynn; Anthony; Samantha; Takota and Autumn; and brothers, Charles Hough and William (Jamie) Hough.

The family will receive guests Thursday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
