Robert Czyzewski

Robert D. "Bob" Czyzewski, age 61 of Toledo, passed away Sunday, June 20th, 2010 surrounded by his loving family at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. He was born March 25th, 1949 to Alvin and Ivy Czyzewski in Toledo, Ohio. Bob worked at Flower Hospital as a Security Officer for 22 years, where he always went above and beyond for everyone. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Bob's family will remember him as a loving and supportive man who could fix just about anything.

Survivors include his wife, Sherri (Kolebuck) Czyzewski; children, Allen (Jennifer) Czyzewski and Jennifer (Jr.) Brandon; grandchildren, Dylan Joshua and one granddaughter expected in August, Bella; siblings, Shirley (Jim) Keepler, Dan (Sue) Clark, T.J. (Jim) Simmons and Jeanne Thomas; half-brother, Glen (Laura) Elliot; many brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews; best canine buddy, "Bear." Preceding him in death are his parents and infant son, Robert D. Czyzewski, Jr.

The family will receive guests Wednesday from 2-8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 2-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. A Sharing of Memories will begin Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
