Robert E. Coates, Sr.

Robert E. "Bob" Coates, Sr., age 76, of Toledo, passed away at home April 10, 2017 at home. He was born on January 13, 1941 in Michigan. Bob worked in the restaurant field for many years and then went on to work security for various companies before retiring. He enjoying hunting, shooting and shopping.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years Jean Coates; and brother, Richard Coates. Bob is survived by his son, Robert (Lori) Coates; daughter, Dawn Kring and her 2 daughters; granddaughters, Sara (Tim) Thurston, Kara (Danny) Brant, Samara Coates, Kaitlynne Coates and Savana Coates; great-granddaughters, Rylee, Delaney and Kynslee; and sister-in-law, Becky (Kevin) Byrne.

Graveside Services will take place Monday, April 17, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park, 3665 Genoa Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551.
