Robert D. Bradley, age 82, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, November 15, 2021, at St. Vincent's Mercy Medical Center. He was born on August 8, 1939, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Melford and Elizabeth Bradley.
Bob proudly served in the United States Army in the 27th Engineer Battalion. He had previously worked at Conforming Matrix, Champion Spark Plug, and Met-L-Tec. Bob had an avid interest in WWII military aviation, and collected guns and bayonets. Bob was known to his family as "Mr. Fix It", he was a man of many talents, always tinkering in his garage, also known as Bobs Hanger and Museum. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings as a lifelong fan. Bob liked finding a good bargain at Estate sales and flea markets. Family and friends were very important and were an integral part of Irish festivities in his garage. To find a good party and hardy laugh, one need not look any further than Bob.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife of 60 years, Catherine (Snyder) Bradley; children, Tracy (Kenny) Rarick and Julie (Glenn) Houser; grandchildren, David (Bree) Archibeque, April (Bobby) Futey, and Autumn Evans; great grandchildren, Harley, Emersyn, Hudson, Hensley, and Alaina; sister, Delores Knopp; brother, Michael Bochnovich Jr.; sister-in-law, Judy Faunce; niece, Laurie Faunce; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Michael Bochnovich; father and mother-in-law, Charles and Gertrude Snyder; daughter, Amy Evans; two brothers, Melford and Donald Bradley; and a nephew, Scott Faunce.
A private memorial service will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Northwest Ohio.
