Robert "Bob" W. Murray, age 86, of Coldwater, Michigan passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 9, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio to the late John and Marian Murray.
Bob loved spending time at the lake. He liked wood carving, fishing, golf, and anything you could do outdoors. Bob was an avid Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Florida Marlins fan. He worked as a Tool & Dye Maker at Ford Motor Company for over 20 years. Bob graduated from Macomber Vocational High School class of 1953 and later attended University of Toledo. He enjoyed scuba diving in the Florida Keys. Bob was known to have an outgoing personality and was an extremely hard worker. He was a proud grandfather who was adored by his grandchildren.
Left to cherish Bob's memory is his wife of 30 years, Sandy; children, Pam (Ford) Kebker and Steve Murray; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Marilyn) Murray; sister-in-law, Barb Murray; and many loving family members. Bob was preceded in death by brother, David A. Murray.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made out to his wife, Sandy.
Family will be receiving guests from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd., Toledo, Ohio 43617 (419 392 9500). Services for Bob will be private and he will be laid to rest at Toledo Memorial Park.
