Robert Bailey, Jr.

Robert B. Bailey, Jr., age 73 of Temperance, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, October 30, 2012. He was born January 30, 1939 to Robert B. and Emma (Olive) Bailey. Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. In his spare time, he was passionate about horse racing and watching football. Robert had strong faith and loved the Lord; he also attended services at The Church on Strayer.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 50 years, Joyce (Hobbs) Bailey; children, Aaron (Donna) Bailey, Joel (Melinda) Bailey and Nichole (Joe) Gillen; grandchildren, Don, Jaculyn, Josh, Bailey, Sydney, Emily and Brett; great-grandchildren, Lilianna and Raiden; siblings, Sue (Gene) Woodward and Ann (Ronnie) Adams and many special nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

The family would like to specially thank the nurses and staff, especially to David, Tina, Lisa and Katie at Cardiac I.C.U. on the 7th floor at Toledo Hospital for the diligent care they provided to Robert.
