Robert A. Schumann, Sr. age 71, of Toledo, passed away June 30, 2014. He was born August 28, 1942 in Toledo to Elmer and Rachel (Snyder) Schumann. Robert was employed with Teledyne C.A.E. and Pilkington for many years.
Robert is survived by his son, Robert A. (Carmen) Schumann Jr and daughter, Rachelle (Robert) Bundy; grandchildren, Travis Schumann, Tyler Bundy, Shelby Bundy, Alisha (Kevin) Graves, Christy (Corwin) Minerd, Anthony Schumann, Jordan Schumann, Austin Schumann, Jacque Dayhoff; siblings, Elmer Schumann, Jr, Ralph (Katie) Schumann, Tyrone (Bernice) Schumann, Darlene (Donald) Bryan, Shirley (Butch) Archambeau and Daniel Schumann. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Jean Schumann.
The family will receive guests Thursday, July 3, 2014 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Robert's memory.
