Robert A. "Bob" Bourbeau, age 72, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Toledo Hospital where he was surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 26, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to Wilfred and Ann (Murphy) Bourbeau.
Bob and his wife founded and operated Remco Business Product, a Toledo based business. Additionally, Bob was a soldier in the U.S. Army and served his country in the Vietnam War. He loved to be surrounded by family, friends and his passion was travel.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 46 years, Barbara (Dereszynski) Bourbeau; Bridget (Regis) Spielvogel; Lisa (Eric) Howell; Scott (Kristen) Bourbeau; Cindy (Brian) Schroyer; 11 grandchildren; brother, Fred Bourbeau; numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at the Mother House of the Sisters of St. Francis, 6832 Convent Blvd., Sylvania, OH 43560. Bob's wishes were to be laid to rest at his favorite vacation destination, Sanibel Island, Florida.
