Rita Marie Steward

Rita Marie Steward, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on September 27, 2018 with her family by her side. Rita graduated from Start High School in 1985, from there she attended Davis Business College. She was employed with Bo Rics Hair Salon for many years. In her early years Rita was a member of the baton and drum corps and performed in parades and festivals. Rita accepted the Lord as her Saviour at an early age and was faithful in church until her health declined.

Rita was a private person but enjoyed the quality time with her family. She will be known for her sweet smile she always had on her face.

Preceding her in death was her father, Robert M. Steward. She is survived by her mother, Audrey Steward King; sisters, Dorothy (Tom) Smith, Janice Dickens and Barbara (Ron) Rasey; nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Rita's Funeral Service will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
