Rita R. Batesole

Rita R. Batesole, age 92, of Shoreland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at St. Vincents Mercy Medical Center. She was born on December 31, 1921 to Leroy and Caroline (Reno) Mittendorf in Toledo. Most important to Rita was caring for her family and her home. She enjoyed tending to her vegetable and flower gardens in her backyard. Rita had a love of all animals, especially her feline companions.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Bonnie Enright-Huff; grandson, P.J. Enright and brother in law, Eugene (Mary) Batesole. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Jack Batesole and son, Larry Batesole.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Parish, 5152 Summit St., Toledo, OH 43611.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Parish.

The family would like to specially thank Rita's good neighbors and friends, especially John and Dee Lambert, Pete and Carol Ronstadt, Rachael Bohnson and Marie Mastek for their care and generosity over the years.
