Rita Mae Gracheck

Rita Mae Gracheck, age 87, of Toledo, passed away October 18, 2014 at The Toledo Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Rita was born January 13, 1927 in Toledo to Zigmund and Esther (Olejwnik) Palicki. She was employed at American Lincoln Manufacturing for many years. Rita was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and a long standing member of the Salesians Club, Horticulture Society at Crosby Gardens, and the Eagles. Rita enjoyed entertaining, gardening, cooking, boating, traveling, playing cards, dancing, sewing, attending Polish festivals, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Rita was also preceded in death by her sister Carol Wenslow. She is survived by her husband, Paul J. Gracheck, Daughter, Trina M. (John) Hudak, Granddaughters, Lisa L. (Giovanni) Morales, Tiffany A. Griggers, Kristina M. (Patrick) Amrine, and ten great grandchildren.

The family will receive guests Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - NW Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 10:00 am. in the funeral home. Entombment to follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
