Rita M. Merrill, age 91, of Toledo, passed away peacefully, Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 10, 1922 in Toledo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul "Bud" Merrill and daughter, Linda Rae Kaczmarek. Rita is survived by her grandchildren, Robin, D.J. and Kirk Kaczmarek; great-grandchildren, Christina Sophia, Steven, Lillian Rochelle, Amanda and Jessica (Rob); and great-great-grandchildren, Lilly and Presley.
There will be no visitation or services for Rita at this time. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
Robin would like to give a special thank you to Sister Virginia, Scotty & Tina, Angie, Gracie, Jacob & Scott, Sam & Angie, Dan & Kelly, Shane, Diedra and MyTiesha for all of their love, care and support given to "Granny".
