Rita Lewis

Rita M. Lewis, age 67, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 14, 2007 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born on July 15, 1940 to Howard and Cecilia (Jagodsinski) Surgeson in Toledo.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Richard Surgeson and step-daughter, Debbie Chevalier. Rita is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Robert L. Lewis; children: Cindy King, Debbie (Jeff) Westray, Sandy Sawyer and Randy Sawyer; grandchildren: Shana, Stacey and Angel; 7 step-children, 7 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; brother: David Surgeson; and many other family members and dear friends.

There will be no visitation of services for Rita per her request. The Newcomer Funeral Home, (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
