Rita A. (Hoffman) Dumm

Rita A. (Hoffman) Dumm, age 88, of Toledo, passed away August 26, 2017 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Rita was born April 8, 1929 in Dunkirk, NY to Peter and Lottie (Iglewski) Hoffman. She attended #6 School and graduated from Whitney Vocational in 1947. Rita was a member of Regina Coeli Church and the Rosary and Altar Society there.

In addition to her parents, Rita was also preceded in death by her husband Richard Dumm, brother, Richard Hoffman and sister, Esther Brandel . She is survived by her son, Rick M Dumm, sister, Elaine M. Hoffman, grandson, Ricky Dumm and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300), were the Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm. Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Friday September 1, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. with her Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. at Regina Coeli Church 530 Regina Parkway. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
