Richard Lee "5Pac" Yeager, age 69, resident of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021, at his home, surrounded by family. He was born on April 20, 1952, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Baldwin Ora Yeager and Shirley Ann (Patchin) Cosgrove.
Richard worked many years as a body repairman and owned Techmaster Collision. He enjoyed taking rides on his Harley. Richard was always tinkering around; he was a man of many talents. He was good with his hands. He was a fantastic builder, helping his grandchildren with their school projects. He also enjoyed building model cars and going to antique car shows. An Ohio State Buckeye fan, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Richard will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife, Cheryl (Wagner) Yeager, whom he married on March 18, 1977; four children, Dawn Honisko, Sherry (Shawn Mohler) Yeager, Tina Yeager, and LeeAnne (Robert) Degler; seven grandchildren, Stephenie, Jaeson (Mindy), Abigail, Harley, Lucas, William, and Elliot; two great grandchildren, Grayson and Gavin; three brothers, Terry (Karen) Yeager, Michael (Cheryl) Yeager, and David (Staci) Yeager; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Cosgrove; and father-in-law, and mother-in-law, Richard and Ruth Wagner.
Family and friends may gather at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3655 King Road, Toledo, Ohio 43617, on Friday, April 30, 2021, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.
