Richard Wells

Richard J. Wells, age 71, of Toledo, passed away Monday, April 14, 2008 at West Toledo Healthcare Center. He was born January 30, 1937 to William and Viola (Gates) Wells in Toledo. Dick was an avid golfer and enjoyed working at Tamaron Golf Club for 23 years on the grounds crew. He also treasured spending time with his loving wife, Nancy and his family. Dick was a special person will be missed by all that knew him.

In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Nancy Ann (VanderPloeg) Wells; children: David (Sonia) Wells, Dina Wells, Gregory Kuehnl, Karen (Gerald) Haas, Michael (Melissa) Kuehnl and Kristy Kuehnl; grandchildren: Nicolas, Oliver, Samantha, Dennis and Julie; and his furry canine friend "Charlie".

The family will receive guests Monday from 1-2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300), with a Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 p.m.
