Richard Vincent Troiano
Richard Vincent Troiano, age 47, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2007 in Toledo. He was born February 9, 1959 to Richard and Gladys (Shaull) Troiano in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Richie enjoyed fishing, camping and bar-b-ques. He was a devoted New York Yankees fan and loved Johnny Cash and country music. Richie was proud to have been a Tireman for 15 years. Most importantly he treasured the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and his friends.
Richie is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Lucy ; children, Jorge (Jeanna) Cartagena; Margie (Kevin) Troiano; grandsons, Julian Miguel Cartagena and Saverio Miguel Troiano; sisters, Lynn (Eric Stribling) Curtis; Debbie (Alan); brothers, Gregory (Jill) Kevin (Diane) Phil; Jay; Corky and Jonathon; special niece, Dorette Santos; mother, Gladys (Merle) Bancroft; father, Richard (Vivian) Troiano and many other close friends and family members.
The family will receive guests Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the American Legion Pond Post, 3247 E. Manhattan Blvd. Toledo, Ohio for a Memorial Service to celebrate Richie's life.
