Richard "Rick" Stokes, age 48, of Toledo passed away on June 28th 2014 at the Toledo Hospital. He was born on December 29th 1965 to Dennis and Naomi (Seger) Stokes in Florida.
Rick was a graduate of Whitmer High School. He worked in the construction business doing siding and roofing. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and camping. He had many hobbies and was known for his outdoor barbecuing. He loved animals, especially his Rottweiler.
Rick is preceded in death by his father Dennis and sister Sandy. He is survived by his mother Naomi, sister Patricia Miley, brothers Jim and wife Pat, Bill and LuLu, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive guests Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 12:00pm - 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - NW Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 4:00 pm. in the funeral home.
