Richard John Mclennan

Richard "Rick" John McLennan, 63, of Toledo, passed away on August 8, 2021 at his home. Richard was born September 7, 1957 in Toledo to Frank and Kathleen (Godwin) McLennan.
He worked for the City of Columbia, TN Parks and Recreation as a city employee for 13 years. Rick moved back to Toledo and worked for many years at Eagle Cab and retired at the Toledo Seagate Food Bank. You could always find Rick at Paul and Dee's with a beer in hand having a good time. In his free time he enjoyed fishing. Rick made friends with anyone he met and enjoyed helping people, he would give his last dollar to anyone in need.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Tarena (Gregory Ballez) McLennan and Cathy (Alexander) MacDonald; grandchildren, LeAndre Martinez, Johnathan McLennan, Lilyanna, Cataleia, Titus, Luke, Nevaeh, Alyssia, Alexander Jr., and David MacDonald; great-grandchildren, Nolan and Owen Farley; and siblings, Betty, Helen, Nancy, and Carl.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tina Urbina; and siblings, William, Harold, Donald, and Barbara.
The family will receive guests Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900) where Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Tarena McLennan in Rick's memory.
