Richard Mccutcheon

Richard L. McCutcheon, age 82, of Delta, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Defiance Hospice Center. He was born August 2, 1926 to Roy and Minnie (Krontz) in Butler, Indiana. Richard was a fork lift driver with the Dura Corporation for 32 years before retiring in 1983. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his grandsons, Richard Wells and Matthew Johnson, infant granddaughter, Amanda Swick, great-grandson, Alexander Crews, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Richard is survived by his loving wife of almost 59 years, Rosemary McCutcheon; daughters, Linda (John) Jones, Dianna (Jim) Leonard and Sharron (Don) Danhauer; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and half-sister, Wanda Hayden.

The family will receive guests on Sunday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Yuliyan Filipov. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
