Richard Halferty

Richard "Nick" Halferty, age 65, passed away peacefully in his Old West End home on February 15th, 2006. He was born June 2, 1940 to Paul and Julia (Stults) Halferty in Toledo. Nick was vice president of Mastercraft Marine and Sports, a family owned business of 38 years. Nick later started his own business the Silver Ladies and Nick, retiring in 2004. Nick was the past president of the Redmen and the LARC, spending many years promoting both of these groups.

He will be greatly missed by his sister, Linda; nephews, Marty (Daphne) and Jeffrey (Jamie) and their families; Merle Stults; uncles, Tom and Jack Stults as well as many beloved cousins. Also left to cherish Nick's memory are very special friends, Barbara Kinzel; Marlene and Don; Carol; Shirley; Rita and Vern; Brian and John.

The family will receive guests Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Toledo Memorial Park, Swan Lake Chapel (at the rear of the cemetery) for a Memorial Service to Celebrate Nick's Life.
