Richard H. Blomme, 82, passed away on July 25, 2013. He was born on November 18, 1930 to the late Maria and Julius Blomme.
Dick retired from United Airlines in 1991 after 32 years of service. He served in the Korean War for 3 years as a Radio Operator in S.Q.D. "3392." Dick was an avid golfer with his buddies and The East Toledo Old Farts. He also bowled many years on the Eagles Bowling Team. Dick was a lifetime member of the Eagles serving as a trustee and helping out any way needed.
In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy; sister, Eileen Peer and brother, William Christian. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Connie; daughter, Deborah Carpenter; sister, Helen Faust and 3 grandchildren.
