Richard Lee Grant

Richard L. Grant, age 84, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 5, 2021. He was born on June 6, 1937 in Zanesville, Ohio where he first met the love of his life, Barbara Anne King. He would meet her again after moving to Toledo, Ohio. They were married on June 6, 1959 at Church of the Nazarene and had 5 children together. Richard was self-employed as a landscaper. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and tinkering with cars and tractors.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank E. Grant; his mother, Margery E. Grant; sister, Hazel Thomas; and brothers, Lymon, Vaughn, Robert, Charles, George, Herman, Pete, Earl and Leroy. Richard is survived by his brother, Seth (Judy); children, Robin (Alan), Richard Jr. (Lisa), Ronald, Renee (Rick), Robert (Stephanie); and grandchildren, Stephanie, Heather, David, Krystal, Rose, Ronald, Cassandra, K.D. and many great-grandchildren.

The family will receive guests on August 21, 2021 from 12 – 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 4930 Flanders Rd., Toledo, OH 43623 with Pastor Rick Ketterman and loved ones.
