Richard T. Funk

Richard T. "Pops" Funk, age 89 of Toledo, Ohio passed away with his family by his side on Friday, October 25, 2019 at the Toledo Hospital. He was a Christmas baby, born at home on December 25, 1929 in Holland, Ohio to Frederick and Daisy Funk. Pops proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He later retired from Doehler-Jarvis after over 20 years of service. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing out on the lake and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dolores (Burdasz) Funk.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Gregory Funk, Mark (Julie) Funk, Susan (Joe) Mosakowski and Michael (Nicole) Funk; grandchildren, Amanda (Brock) Rieger, Eric (Tracy) Funk, Kim (Travis) Hall, Kyle (Katie) Mosakowski, Courtnie, Scott, Jr. and Kathryn Tucker; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Kole, Hunter, Aubrey, Alayna, Ryleigh, Jacob, Evan and Hailey and sister, Connie Shaw.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 5-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300).
