Richard Freshour

Richard "Brandyman" D. Freshour, age 77, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, February 08, 2006 at Flower Hospital. He was born on January 1, 1929 to Clarence and Lucille (Garrison) Freshour in Beaumont, Texas. Dick was a truck driver throughout his life, driving over two million miles. He loved fishing and having fun, never letting a good time pass him by. Dick was always telling jokes and helping anyone at anytime. He was always there when you needed him.

In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Marty Freshour and his sister, Sarah.
Dick is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Bette (Bergendahl) Freshour; sons: Jeffery (Lana) and James (Gail) Freshour; "daughter": Cindy Pfaff; grandchildren: Ryan, Cory, Michelle, Craig, Nicole, "Brittany and Mikel"; sister: Mary Ruth Greiner; nephew: Rob Bergendahl; and his beloved dog: Mindy.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, February 12, 2006 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. with Funeral Services beginning at 4:00 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Kenneth Engdahl.
